FROG, maker of hot tub and pool sanitizers, is part of King Technology’s growing portfolio.

One of the primary objectives in the packaging redesign was evolve the FROG-brand to a more grown-up look, perhaps. In the end, legacy won out. The old FROG logo was cleaned up and color palette was tweaked. With that, the explorative-journey is still notable.

Spring 2021, FROG celebrates 25 year anniversary. This campaign highlights the people — employees, representatives, dealers and consumers — that made the success of FROG products possible. To create awareness and generate inclusiveness, FROG25 proposed and created. Tapped Picture Mosaics to build the mosaic.

All strategy and creative were designed by yours truly. However, elements were handed off to client’s in-house team.

We all strive to have a little fun with our work. And on rare occasions, one gets to present an idea to client — with all fingers and toes crossed — with high hopes that this will be the chosen one. We got lucky!

CYA, nope, not the acronym that jumps to mind; rather, it stands for this toxic element (Cyanuric Acid) that wreaks havoc with your hot tub water. It can cause cloudy and itchy water. Hot tub owners would need to drain, refill and repeat that endless loop. And while the negative-effects and complaints mount up, oddly, no one was willing to talk about the real cause. Why? Because the majority of hot tub sanitizing manufacturers don’t have a solution. Fortunately, FROG does — and it’s called @ease!

This FROG @ease B2B campaign was part tutorial, part salesmanship — covering everything from print to video to trade show display. The challenge was how to approach this predicament lightly without alienating partnerships. With a splash of humor, the campaign hits the silence — hard.

The @ease product name was developed by yours truly in 2014.
